Woman of Purpose Spotlight: Talk Show Host, Mari Mitchell

Mari Mitchell Porter, CPC is a certified professional coach specializing in relationship and life coaching. She helps people who are struggling in any relationship whether with a sibling or parent, a romantic relationship, or difficulties with a child.  She’s also a radio show host and writer. After coaching herself through the pain of divorce, the struggles of being a single mom and the challenges of beginning to date again she decided to become a coach.

Her passion is working with people one-on-one giving them the support, encouragement and accountability necessary to bring love and fulfilment into their lives. Sessions can be in person, on the phone or through Skype.

Her first book, "Diary of a Hopeless Romantic" is a story about a forty-something woman looking for love who goes on a journey of self-discovery. The message in the book is: No one should ever give up on finding true love. The main character Natalie teaches herself about boundaries, expanding her social circle, instincts in trusting people and not to over think when it comes to dating. Little by little she becomes aware of how badly she has always allowed men to treat her. Her sense of humor and determination to find the perfect man, take her through hilarious dating scenarios and a journey of self-discovery.

She hosts her own radio show called "Dare to be Authentic" every Monday 1:30 and 6:30 PM Eastern time on the Amazing Women of Power Radio Station powered by Raven International.
